Common Names

Griffith's plum yew (Tripp 1995).

Taxonomic notes

Herbarium specimens indicate it is similar to the geographically overlapping species C. mannii, C. oliveri and C. sinensis. See C. mannii for further information, including a useful description and illustration.

Description

Needles 5-7.5 cm long, 3 mm wide (Tripp 1995).

Range

India: Arunachal Pradesh (Mishmi Hills), Manipur, Nagaland; N Myanmar (=Burma) (Farjon 1998); China: W Sichuan. Grows at ca. 6000 feet elevation in India (Tripp 1995).
