DescriptionProcumbent shrub to 70 cm tall, with creeping, elongated branches that turn up at the ends. Leaves mostly acicular, in whorls of 3, unequal in length, 6-8 mm long, stiff, slightly concave, with 2 white stomatal bands; lower surface convex, furrowed; base decurrent, apex sharply pointed. Pollen cones unknown. Seed cones black and glaucous when ripe, subglobose, 8-9 mm diameter, 2-3 seeds. Seeds 4 mm long, ridged (Fu et al. 1999).
