Description

Distribution and Ecology

Australia: N Western Australia, King Leopold Ranges and islands offshore from the Prince Regent River area. Grows near the summits of sandstone bluffs and escarpments, and on protected rocky slopes and gullies. Climate tropical with wet summers having diurnal temperature changes of 29-36ºC, and dry winters (14-26ºC). Rainfall about 900 mm (Jones 1993).
