Common names

Taxonomic notes

It seems to be most closely related to A. forrestii and is placed in section Pseudopicea, subsect. Delavayianae (Farjon 1990).

Distribution and Ecology

China: N Guangxi. The type locality (and the only locality for which I have information) is in Rongshui Xian on Yuanbao Shan at 1700-2050 m elevation (Farjon 1990). Hardy to Zone 6 (cold hardiness limit between -23.2°C and -17.8°C) (Bannister and Neuner 2001).
